Joe Hill’s novel, Horns, is being made into a feature film. The story is about a young man who gets very drunk one night and wakes up the next morning with horns growing out of his head. Weird set up, but it’s a pretty good story.
Now a movie is being made, and they’ve cast the main character, Iggy. He’ll be played by Shia LaBeouf. Really? REALLY? I’m not sure why Hollywood has a fascination with Shia, but they do, and now we’re apparently going to see him with horns growing from his head.
The movie is being made by Mandalay Pictures, probably best known for producing Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, and Michel Gondry, who directed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, is attached to direct. Joe Hill will have an executive producer credit.
