The folks behind the insanely popular and successful Harry Potter movies have some time on their hands now that the Potter films have come to an end. So they’re going to kick back and work on something simple…like adapting Stephen King’s The Stand! That was sarcasm, just in case your sarcasm meter is borked.
HitFix is reporting that David Yates and Steve Kloves are in negotiations to do a multi-picture version of The Stand. Let’s hope this time Stu isn’t played by Gary Sinese.
